I have had several conversations with Bruce Brooks, Portside Yacht Brokers Spring Lake, MI. He has been very helpful. He may be able to offer you a surveyor or two. portside@iserv.net or yachtworld.com/portsideyachtbrokers
good luck,

Have you checked the surveyor association web sites?

NAMS: www.nams-cms.com
SAMS: www.marinesurvey.org

Both have listing of surveyors by state; Ive never had contact with NAMS but have had very good experiences with SAMS while searching for my current boat.
