Need Marine Surveyor SF Bay

I need to find a surveyor around Oakland for a pre-purchase or C&V survey on a 51' ketch. I want the most thorough, nit-pickin' guy (or gal) you know. Somebody that brokers probably hate because he can really find stuff that breaks deals. My entry criteria is certification by one of the two big marine survey associations. Who do you know and recommend?

DO NOT USE STEVE WEDLOCK OR HIS COMPANY! He did a terrible job, was very fast, missed lots of things, and then did not follow up when I tried to reach him after the sale.

She's not in your area but does travel to survey. Everyone I've talked with here says she's who you want when you buy but not when you sell. She did our survey and we were very happy. If you don't find anyone closer you might want to check her site. www.alisonmazon.com
