As with most Westerly boats, they're fairly well regarded... you can read more about the Seahawk here.
Also, might want to contact the owner's association
Don't believe the deck or hull are cored, but I could be wrong.
I haven't owned or sailed one.... so I can't give you any first hand opinions on it. Is it a twin keel or the fin?? The fin keel has almost 46% of the displacement as ballast.
One problem with finding more information is that Westerlies aren't very common on this side of the Atlantic... so there isn't that much experience with them.
