Catalina 27 70's era

Hi all,

I had a quick question for all you Catalina 27 owners, 70's era, out there. What are your annual maintenance costs for your boat on average not including slip/mooring or winter storage fees, and insurance? I am thinking about getting a Catalina 27 from the 70's. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

new to me prop from ebay, 40.00
varnish all brightwork 'cuz the cuban saw a boat with "pretty" teak" (arrgh) 75.00 (includes rebedding)

leather cup for pump on stove, 10.00

cleanser for hull 3.00
apply poli-glow on topsides if it ever quits raining, 60.00

new to me compass to replace the one someone needed from my boat more than me... (ebay)45.00

replacement cost for original 100% hand hanked jib that some suminabeech obviously needed to cover something of great value... 500.00 (no, I'm not going to replace it)

The maintenance and slip costs will vary depending on what part of the country they're in. In the southern part of the country, they won't have winterizing costs or dry storage costs, but will have higher maintenance costs, since the boats are used for a longer part of the year... and so on.

CP... what caliber of bullet is that... LOL

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
