heh heh. aaaaah yes. B.ring O.ver A.nother T.housand.....but the memories...priceless.

Try moving!! (probably not feasible for you, but what the hey), someplace like Vancouver or surrounding area.
A years mooring lease with vehicle parking, water, electrics and live aboard costs me
$3200 (CDN) for a 27 footer. Plus we still have salmon you can eat and catch just outside the bay and crabs that wont kill you. Glad I live where I do, have to say.

hmm....

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

SD,

Now, would I do such a thing?
He just got one of those nifty new auto life jackets, wouldn't help much anyway...

I didn't say you would...I merely asked if you had... Any inferences you draw from that are your own fault and have nothing to do with this doggy. Cool... he got the bendytoy... Very nice...
