I'd suggest you go with the smallest boat you can find that fits your needs. Buying the boat is just the beginning of the cash outlay. You need to maintain it as well, and it's expensive to do so properly. Check out the Catalina 27, CS 27, C&C 27, Balboa 26, or similar boats...
