It it a low end production racer cruiser. I owned on for a few yrs back in the mid 80s as my first big boat. They are very heavily oriented toward the IOR rule so are very tender and can get squirrely off the wind with a chute up due to the very narrow transom. Build quality etc is OK for what it is. If the price is right could be a good entry level boat but realize resale not going to be as easy as say a Catalina 30 of the same vintage.
