miami surveyor needed

Hi All,

I might be going to Miami in the later half of next week to look at a boat. The boat is actually in Coral Gables. It is an older Pearson fiberglass boat with an Atomic 4 that will need a little TLC. Can anybody recommend a good surveyor in the Miami area? I also need the name of good mechanic/engine surveyor to take a look at the engine.

Thanks for any input or guidance,
Sam

Nobody knows anybody in Southern Florida they can recommend?

PM me if you want.

I just not too wild about just taking an unknown broker's recommendation or pulling a random name out of the phonebook.

Sailormann will become famous soon enough
If you are having trouble finding a good surveyor, try calling two or three reputable boatyards and talking to the Shop Foreman. Ask that person who he/she would hire if they were buying a boat and wanted a survey done.
