10k to spend on 25-27 boat, ideas?

Ok I''m finally ready to make the transition from my dinghy to a bigger sailboat. I can manage to scrounge up roughly $10,000 and am looking for something between 25-27ft, which is a good quality boat, roomy I''m 6''3", yet still a bit sporty/ racy... I''ll be sleeping on it for week long sails, but primarily use it for cruises in Monteray Bay, CA.

Any suggestions on some boats to consider?

I bought a 1976 Pearson 28-1 last year. Great boat for cruising where I do......the Chesapeake Bay. They seem to be an East Coast boat as they were made in Rhode Island. If you can find one, check it out with a good surveyor. Well worth the 10K I paid.
