Buying A Boat: Updating Boatcheck

Even though most of the reviews are by owners who are generally very enthusiastic about their boats, boatcheck is a wonderful resource for learning about the characteristics of a huge number of sailboats.

A great many of the reviews are now fairly dated. My suggestion would be that owners of sailboats listed in boatcheck provide updated/additional reviews. This would let prospective reviewers have the benefit of owners' experiences that reflect longer acquaintance with the boat.

Richard-

Do you have a url for Boatcheck. Is BoatCheck a commercial, pay-to-use, or a free service?

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
