Pearson Wanderer

I am considering the possibility of trailering a 1968 Pearson Wanderer. I would like to launch from the trailer once per season. Does anyone have experience specific to the Wanderer? General info is also welcomed.

If no one pipes up here with an opinion, post this on the Pearson email list here on Sailnet. There are several Wanderer owners there who probably can help you.

What is the draft on the Pearson Wanderer in question. Anything more than three feet will probably require a travel lift to lift the boat off the trailer, as most boat ramps won't have the depth of water for much greater than that.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
