More Jboat help please?

I went out demo sailing on a J100 today. The boat handled great, wind was 8 knots the boat sailed at 5.5 knots. Simple to sail. Would jumping to a J105 be a big change? Would the sailing characteristics be that much different? Thanks for any input.

The basic difference is two feet. You can go to http://www.Jboats.com to compare the specifics of each boat but a quick perusal indicates they're not much different.

Sailormann will become famous soon enough
The 105 maybe a tad less lively than the 100. Not sure if you'd notice it much. Probably be a good question to ask on the owners' association website...
