Trailer rental Canada

Okay, I had another thread about this, but I am looking for some further input. I have to move a sailboat 85 Kms (50 miles) from Cornwall to Montreal. The boat is on a cradle, but the cradle is not sturdy enough for a transporter to move on a flat bed on the cradle with any guarantees. Option 2 was to use a transport company that has a hydraulic lift. Well, the price of that is insane. Considering what I paid for the boat I am going to try and move it myself. I can easily jack the cradle up, and the support the boat (been giving this a lot of thought), but do not have a trailer. Is there anywhere a person can rent a sailboat trailer? I am in Montreal, Canada. I have access for a ford 250, so I can pull a trailer no problem.

Yes, rational thought says spend the bucks for the hydraulic lift, but when the transport is twice the cost of the boat, well, that makes little sense. The boat is a 23 foot grampian, keel is probably around 2 feet.

Any ingenous people out there that have ideas? Yes, silly project to undertake, but have no other choice.

Sailormann will become famous soon enough
You can buy a trailer for the boat for about $1,500.00. You can also try http://www.yachtware.net and see if he has any used ones to sell...
