Yep. THat can do it, unless you are allergic to cedar or teak.
Go get a dehumidifier. Run it for as many hours as you can stand it. SPray down with lysol (a lot), then circulate that air. THen repeat with the dehumid.
It is not fool proof, but will help. Running an air conditioner constatly will eliminate mold/mildew, but many people do not want to pay that bill. You can also check your bilge to see what creatures are hiding in there.
