I'm going to get a 2008 45 footer Jeanneau!

If my calculations are correct, and the market doesn't change winds, and I stay alive;

In year 2038 I'll be riding on my 2008 Jeanneau 45 footer

I was going through the brochure, love that boat, sleek lines, beautiful interior, and headroom is great

Put it on Lay-A-Way now, that way it will be nice and fresh in 30 years ...

Umm... chances are likely that a 2008 Jeanneau won't be in very good shape in 2038...since they're not built to the same tank like standards that the older boats were.

I'll take my 85 Jeanneau over an 08 ANY day of the week, even when I can afford the new ones. Altho this one looks like one I could enjoy now! Just shows one what ea of us considers the tpe of boat we want vs what we can use vs dream another day........

i also concur with SD, the new ones are seemingly not as solid as the older ones even 2-4 yrs ago! Designed and built to survive 3-5 yr turnaround charter stds vs individual owner stds of wanting a boat to survive longer than that.

Good for you! when does it get manufactured/delivered? I've got the 43DS and like it - but the newer models with the swept lines looky sexy. Have you joined the Jeanneau owner's group and posted there yet?

Me thinks you've been hoodwinked...... you did not get the joke!..........he is thinking in 30 yrs of getting the 08 48' boat!

In the mean time, for those looking at jeanneau's, yes the link zanshin mentioned is a good place for info on these boats.
