What type of yacht is this?

Found this boat in a bay near Kingston. I love the look of her. Does anyone know what make she is?

A Bristol 40 sloop with a hard dodger?

EDIT: Nah, the stern isn't right.

She has a family resemblance to the Mark Ellis designs by Hinterhoeller... like the Niagara 42, but again, the transom isn't quite right... on second thought, maybe it is!? A N42 with some extra rubrail/trim etc? (and a hard dodger)

Yeah, I think you got it - a Niagara 42.

Thanks folks! I've sorta liked the Niagara 35 (too bad about the balsa-cored hull). I see a few Niagara 42's on yachtworld, and indeed, the boat I'd been admiring in Pryner's Cove, west of Kingston, ON, sure looks like the Niagara 42.

Right now my wife and I own an Ontario 28 - great boat! But we're dreaming about the next boat. Niagara 35 had been thought about, except for core problems. Tayana 37 is appealing too.

N35 cored hull problems

I have a Niagara 35 (actually selling it) and have heard of no Niagara 35s will water into the hull coring, with the exception of a couple that have rub rails where the bedding has not been kept up. Without the rub rail, there are zero holes into the core. I would be very surprised if the N42 you are showing does not have a cored hull - that is the way that Hinterhoeller built them. A much more significant problem (although more easily fixed) is water intrusion into deck cores. I just finished a major boat search and Tayanas seem to have major deck issues - teak and coring both.
