Mason 33?

Has anyone here owned, sailed on, or worked on a Mason 33? I'm interested in all opinions. I've been looking at PSC 34s but the Mason 33s are starting to become the front runner in my boat search.

There's plenty off comments on the larger Mason boats on the forum, but I'm having trouble finding info on the 33s (they only built 27 of them.)

Thanks,

Gary

we ended up buying a Mason 33 last year, and love her more each day. Incredible boat. Email if you want to talk more --- she is in San Diego, heading for San Fran as soon as spring weather allows

windsaloft-

FYI, you're better off posting e-mail addresses the way you did, since it is far less likely to get harvested by a spammer's webbot.

To post links or live e-mail addresses you need a minimum of ten posts.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Be aware that WindsAloft won't be able to PM you until he has 10 posts IIRC....so you may want to e-mail instead.

Practical Sailor did a nice review of the 33 many years ago. It's worth taking a look at if you're interested in a boat. You can order a reprint.

Thanks for my smile of the day. That'll make a few spambots meltdown.

Re: Mason 33?

Did any information get exchanged on the Mason 33? I tried the email addresses but they bounced.
