Loretta,

Go to www.merit22.org and post your request there. They likely can help. I checked Yachtworld listings for grins and found three 25''s for sale, but no 22''s. Good luck. The 22 is a nice boat.

There are a few Merit 25s for sale along the Hudson River...that''s only West if you live in Mass. or Ct. In pretty good shape too. In our area they are often a starter boat with the owners moving up a few seasons after the purchase. Good for lake sailing and generally fast but if you are coastal you might want to fast forward and look for a larger boat.

I, too, am looking for a Merit 22

And I'd drive some distance from Seattle to get one.

I'm not allowed to put my email address in this post, apparently. I'll happily reimburse you for a phone call: 206-533-6245.

Thanks for any offers or leads.

Dan—

You really need to check dates on threads... this is the second Merit 22 thread that you've revived that was from SIX YEARS AGO.

If the boat wasn't sold, it's probably SCRAP by now.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
