I browsed the Owner's Associations and everything I can find. I think this about when Howard Hughes bought some of the Designs from Columbia?

Does anyone one here have one of these boats? "FULL KEEL"!!!!

Update!!! I have found a Fin Keel says it is Lead.

According to howard hughes introductory page on an owners manual, the external lead keel is cast with virgin lead and antimony added for hardness. The keel has oversized stainless steel bolts cast into it to allow it to be bolted to the underside of the boat.
