Red face 1978 Columbia 7.6 (25') Ballast material?

I browsed the Owner's Associations and everything I can find. I think this about when Howard Hughes bought some of the Designs from Columbia?

Does anyone one here have one of these boats? "FULL KEEL"!!!!

What is the Keel Ballast made of Lead/Iron?

hughes keel composition

According to howard hughes introductory page on an owners manual, the external lead keel is cast with virgin lead and antimony added for hardness. The keel has oversized stainless steel bolts cast into it to allow it to be bolted to the underside of the boat. The entire page is available on line if you look around a little bit after googling hughes.
