Why can't we access boat reviews anymore?

So what's the deal with not being able to access the boat review information anymore. Now, when you go to that link, it doesn't let you see the reviews. It is just a vicious circle of seeing the name of the boat you wish to see a review for, and nowhere else to go from there.

I know sailnet had been having some trouble, but this is pretty basic web stuff.

Anyone out there from sailnet who can inform us when this will be fixed?

We can. It would seem the powers that be, have changed the format. Just enter the make of boat in the search window and it will bring up all you wish for.

EDIT: Okey, seem's we have a problem. I can bring up the list but then that's it.

Simon V can you actually see the reviews? I can find where they are but can't view the actual review.....Anyone?

Do a search on my posts - I posted how to access them...If I recall I did a blank search andf pulled them up but my posting history pulls up how I got there...

I much prefered the old way the boat reviews worked. If it ain't broke.....

I just type in the name of the boat and do internet search. Can also add to the search terms with "reviews" or "Organizations", "Clubs" etc.

Examples;
Catalina 30
Catalina 30 reviews
Catalina 30 organizations

Each of the above will return something; 2 of the above gave the "International Catalina 30 Association" first up.

So try "Boat you want" Maybe Length" etc.

What a pointless pain. It used to be so easy and now doesn't work at all. Is anyone from sailnet listening? When I was in the market to buy a boat I found all the boat reviews here on sailnet to be quite useful. So much so that I entered one for the boat we eventually bought just to help future poor souls trying to gather information.

I know I can access other information about many boats online, but that still doesn't address the problem of the large sailnet boat review database being off limits for some reason.

I just tuned into this thread - read it and tried the Boat Review and found the same results as bwindrope. Screen says there are reviews when you use the Search feature but when you select a boat, nothing pops up but the header info....

I found some "Slots" on the back of my "Computer Monitor". I thought; "Maybe I supposed to drop a quarter into the slot to view the reviews"?
