Boat purchase USVI

hi: looking for some guidance in purchasing a boat currently in St Thomas and will be leaving it there for the forseeable future. will have USCG bill of sale, abstract search and documentation transfer papers. looking into insurance with Blue Water. they want her on the hard from june thru nov. other insurance company suggestions. i dont mind hauling for hurricane season, but was hoping july or august at the latest thru oct/nov.
welcome other thoughts/comments/suggestions.

Take a look before you sign on with Bluewater:

Talk with Al Golden at www.imiscorp.net. What you are asking for may be quite expensive (coverage in the "box" during hurricane season) but my guess is that there's a price for everything.

Al & IMI are good folks. Sometimes people complain they are high on price--but no one ever complains about the service, or holes in the coverage. Sometimes, quality simply costs money. And, they'll explain things to you at length. Real professionals.

Insurance update: got a few emails from Al, called him, never got a call back.
Bluewater sent a quote and application. Not sure what's up with Imis/Al, but I'm running out of time as i close next week.
thanks for your suggestions.
