1974 Ranger 32

I am thinking about buying a 1974 Ranger 32 for PHRF racing. Does anyone know if you can relocate the traveler to the cockpit instead of it being on the to of the doghouse? Will this idea work or not? Also, is there enough room to put a wheel in the cockpit?

I have never seen the boat in person, only seen a Ranger 28. I am going on a suggestion of a friend when it comes to this yacht. Any opinions on this boat would be helpful

I am selling a Pearson 10M 33'' with traveler in the cockpit and Edson wheel steering. New Andersen st winches, Scaefer rr and Perkins diesel among the many goodies and a low phrf rating. Asking $33,000 Boat is in Marion, MA
