custom builder Bill McNabb

Hey all, I'm interested in a custom built pilothouse that looks interesting. The only problem is that I can't find out anything about the builder. According to the listing, it was built by Bill McNabb in Coquitlam, BC. Does anyone have any information on this builder? My google-fu came up empty as did my sailnet searches.

Thanks!

Jason

My family owned Truant marine for many years on Vancouver island and been involved in the marine industry here since the early 70's never heard of him but will ask around for you.

Thanks Jimmy! I'm starting to think the listing has the name wrong. This guy has absolutely zero google presence. Hard to believe a boat builder in the modern era would cast no internet shadow.

I was thinking it may be a home builder trying to give it some credibility by claiming to be a shipwright. Contact Campbell Black at black line marine if the guy is actually a boat builder he will know of him.

Do you suppose they are referencing someone at Cooper? Isn't that out of Coquitlam?

For future reference, it sounds like this is someone from Cooper that split off and did his own custom work. From going over the boat this weekend, it certainly doesn't look like they skimped on the details. It's a well found boat.
