It's cute, but I think a Farrier Tramp/eagle would be better.

Here's a fun video to watch... a Farrier 9R overtaking Hugo Boss, a much more expensive Open 60 monohull.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

HAHAHAHA!!!

SD, you're hilarious, "much more expensive" doesn't quite cover a VOR boat. That video is like watching a F1 racer get spanked by a tricked out Honda Civic. I don't know why, but that turn of phrase has really made my day. I'd seen the video before, but never heard anyone compare an open 60 to a Farrier by saying it is much more expensive!

And your point, SD, is???

A Windsurfer board would sail around you 2 times a second and no one is pointing the obvious is it???

I hate when things are taken out of context...I am tired of this..trimarans sail faster, but that is the only thing they do...sail fast...no other virtues compared to a monohull....

Tell you what...you sail your tri, and I can sail any catalina or Beneteau, above 35 feet of your choice...

We don't race straight lines, we do an Olympic circuit, basic one...upwinds, reach downwinds...I'll get the grin of your face...wanna bet?? I'll be in Portsmouth in April...maybe we can get Sailingfool to let us use his boat. the CS36...have a deal??

Gui's obviously in a grumpy mood...

As I said in another thread.. each boat has its pros and cons... I'm not saying that multihulls are better than monohulls. I just think it is funny to watch a $150,000 boat blow by a much bigger, expensive boat.
