Coastal Cruising Mexico

Will be coastal crusing Mexico from Mazatlan south to Puerto Vallarta and Manzanillo next year when I retire. Looking for an easy trailerable. Can anyone give me some info on Catalina 250WK and West Wight Potter 19''s for such a cruise? How are they? Will need a easy to launch rig as marinas, ramps hard to come by down there. Any advice, comments or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

What sort of vehicle is doing the towing and launching? Is it 4WD with a good cooling system? That will decide on the weight of the trailersailer. Also, how many are going to be in the boat and where are you going to store your vehicle while away?

I have thought about this sort of trip with my Catalina 22.
