I am looking for a engine survery on a atomic 4 in the Mackinaw City region. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Check with Sheplers in Mack City or Irish's in Harbor Springs.

I agree with Sheplers and Irish as your first calls. If Sheplers is your broker that may make you nervous, but I have rarely heard anything bad about them. If you end up at Sheplers be careful, you can spend a lot of money in their chandlery very fast. Great store.

To the person that asked if they needed to be able to spell it, NO, it is at the south end of a very long bridge. Trivia: The Bridge and the Island are spelled Mackinac, the city Mackinaw. They are pronounced the same even though every newscaster outside of Michigan, and some inside, pronounce it Mackinack.

I called Sheplers and they didn't want to have anything to do with an engine survey. Oh well. I will try calling the irish boat shop as the boat is actually in Rogers City.(Huron side)

Any other thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks

I am surprised that they could not at least recommend someone. Well, there is the first strike for them.

If Irish in Harbor Springs or Charlevoix don't have a recommendation, which they should, try this guy. I doubt if he does engines, but he surveyed my boat after an accident a few years ago. He should at the minimum be able to recommend someone.

He did my survey at Irish in Harbor in 2005.

Good Luck
