Mystery boat manufacturer

Hmmm, how do things stay so hidden in today's information age?

One of the boats we found on YW is the Elite 364. But, I can't find squat for info on these, the manufacturer, or much reference to them at all.

On Sailnet, mostly seems those asking have the same questions, but no answers.

Has anyone owned one of these, or at least know anything about them?

Trying to research them...but, the mystery continues.

Yeah, saw that too. But, no owner's groups, no company info, not many for sale...dunno.

I Googled the name of the Naval Architect, Philippe Harle. Some info (mostly au Francais) on him, but still hunting for info of substance on the Elites.

Also found this:

Thanks.

The Elite series of sailboats were built by Kirie in France... They're not too common in the USA, as I don't believe they were ever sold here, and most of the ones that are for sale here are immigrants that sailed over at some point in their lives.

Freesail— If you copy the URL and paste into the TinyURL.com - shorten that long URL into a Tiny URL page, and convert it to a tinyurl, it won't get butchered by the keyword linking engine.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Thanks Vasco.

Hmmm, that url is dead. Goes to a domain ad page. The mystery deepens.

Anyone in France want to try that #?
