I am glad you posted. Dave will only sail the boat in the US, as far as I know. I also know the seller paid off the mortgage and Dave paid cash for the sailboat.

I will confirm with the USCG tomorrow. I called many times today but the system either kicked me out or said they couldn't accept my request/ call at this time when I got through to the appropriate department.
