transport costs

Hi

Can anybody tell me what it would cost to transport a 39ft sailboat (about 22000lb), from Miami to Seattle or Vancouver?

Well having done it, about 4Kish for transport, but then there''s the decommissioning and commissioning, which even if you do most of the work, there will be yard costs on either end. Figure 7-10K.
But for the right but it could be worth it. Every sailor needs the right sailing vessel! Get a good one that justifies the cost.

Dear Murphy,

Get a really good vessel that is lightly used. Look in the mid atlantic to NorthEast where the sailing season is shorter and the vessels are coddled a bit in winter.
