contessa 26 w/outboard

although i was looking for a diesel, this very nice 72 contessa has an outboard -- does anyone know whether they came with this from the factory? -- or if this would have been a retrofit, in which case i might put a diesel back in -- thanks, bob

Bob, Yes they were sold new with OB's, I have a '78 for sale in Colorado. send me your email and I will send you details off list.

If my memory is correct, the inboard engine was an option on the Contessa 26. From what I have seen, most were sold with an inboard.
