Help me Plah-eeezzzee

I'm really looking for a cheap boat (free maybe?) that can do EVERYTHING!!! - I'll mostly be single-handing but there will be times I'll have appx 50 crew and guests aboard - i want to sail it from NY, around the Carib, down to Antarctica, down through the bottom of the Marianas Trench and then maybe up to the top of K9 - Plaheeezzzee give me ALL your boat recommendations including equipment that I might want to consider - BTW I've never sailed before but I really know what I'm doing

Sorry - I just couldn't resist - Call it sleep deprivation
Now it's time to go out to the boat - Enjoy the day everyone

Would those little Cat's have enough sail power to lift me to the top of K9? - and would the pop tops withstand the pressure of being at the bottom of the Marianas Trench? - so many options - so little time

wouldnt ya know it - big thunder boomer rolls in as i'm loading up the car - and there was nothing showing on accuweather radar

Cool Please ---- help

I definitely feel a 13 ft. Vanguard Zuma with a wooden centerboard would certainly do the job nicely. And you could port it up to the top of K9 without expending a tremendous amount of energy. [But, be sure to take plenty of energy drinks along]

Have a nice sailing weekend...

Nah. He needs one of those terminally weird P-40's that double as submarines from an obscure and awful Angelina Jolie science fiction movie. Sorry. Can't remember the name. Old Timer's disease.

Wink

Dear Help me Plah-eeezzzee,

Sounds like you need a "Flying Sub." Contact the producers of "Voyage to the bottom of the Sea."

...OR...

Call and make an appointment with your doctor. He can prescribe medicines that can help you.

I know the perfect boat, just needs a little light finish work and I'd bet the seller is willing to negotiate.
sail boat 50 foot
It's CUSTOM made and the builder says it's like a Swan.

So far I think the meds might be the best idea.

Never did make it out on the water today. Sat on the boat drinking some wine and watching the thunderstorms slide by to the south.
