Ladd CT Ketch

I am looking at purchasing a ''82 Ladd CT Ketch 49''. The boat is in great shape. Does anyone know about the manufacturer Ta Chiao Brothers in Taiwan. Or does anyone have info on this particular type of boat, IE problems.

CT does have the best reputation for quality construction. Rob Ladd, the designer, does have a very strong reputation for designing cruising boats that balance performance with solid cruising virtues. You might try to contact Rob Ladd at Ladd Marine in Annapolis, Maryland (410 268 9194) to see what his thoughts are.
