Starry Night is on a distinguished road
Information Quest on our new Nantucket Island 33

Hello All: Several of the sailnet members here sem to be familiar with the Peter Cole designed Nantucket Island 33. We have just purchased one in Annaopolis Md. We plan to do the necessary repair and sail the boat home to Nova Scotia Canada. We are interested in hearing from those having experience/information on these boats.
It's apparently quite seaworthy given that it's been sailed from England to the Carribean after touring the Med.

These boats sem to be fairly common in Austrailia, but are unknown in this part of the world. Can't get much from the most recent owner as he never launched it.

Hope to hear from you, will keep checking this thread.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
