Hi Pablo, My first boat was a 67''Cal25. You just bought one of the better "bargain" boats out there, if she is right. It will take 20 foot seas like a cork with no water coming over, in, aboard. Been there, done that, north Pacific. Very manuverable, nimble, and forgiving of newbees. The hulls have an inch or more on the bow and keel of thickness along the ogee, and 1700lbs of block in the keel keep the stability good. CHECK THE MAST AND RIGING. Raced Cals can strech these to death. They have an awesome history, check cal25.com for more. Check the keel bolts! Yes, those rust nubs in the bilge! If all systems, equip, and rig look nominal or better, go around the planet in it! Luck - The Saildude

Hi,
We had a 67 Cal 27. Check the through hull fittings for grounding. We had problem with ours resulted in taking in water.
