Another Miracle has arrived!
She arrived from the factory at the dealer on Tuesday afternoon, and we got out there yesterday to take a look. The dealer got the autopilot installed, speced out the install of the inverter/charger, de-waxed the hull, and sanded half of the hull, all in the first day she was there. Looks like we might actually get out there sailing in the immediate future!
Likewise, we closed on the sale of our Freedom yesterday too. Our deal was that we traded her in, but we'd get the higher of an agreed value or the actual selling price if I were able to sell her by closing, which I was able to do, thankfully. We actually sold the boat in a matter of weeks, and in that time we had four offers. First guy to the table with money won. The whole process was something else, and everything fell exactly into place such that we went from deciding to do it on July 4, to having the new boat delivered and the old one sold all by August 6. I never in a million years would have thought that the process would have gone like that. We expected much more pain.
I am totally unable to upload pictures. I changed the resolution to 800 x 600, but I get a message that the size is too large because they all are bigger than 97.7kb.
If someone can walk me through how to do it, I'd be happy to post some pix. Meanwhile, I'm going to try to change my avatar.
