Question Boom for a Koralle/Kolibri Dinghy?

Hi, All,

I have the chance to acquire a Koralle Jr. Hull (12', also known as the Kolibri), with a mast, but no boom or sails. I do, however have the rig from my little 10' Snark, and I'm thinking I could get creative and make own boom, or at least something passable. Does anyone know what a Kolibri boom actually looks like? Does it have a sail track, for example? My Snark's boom is basically a tube with a couple of screw eyes on it; the sail is held in place only be the outhaul.

Alternatively, does anyone know where I can find a Kolibri or Koralle boom?

Thanks,
John.

blt2ski will become famous soon enough
My first experience sailing was in a Koralle Jr back in 72. While I am not positive, I am recalling it being a loose foot main.

Have you checked with a local larger sail make that might have the specs in stock?

Marty

hi,
Just joined the sailnet forum. Did you ever find the Kolibri/Koralle parts you were looking for?

Keith.

Hello, everyone, can you please tell me where I can buy a boom claw for a Koralle sailboat. We are fixing it up and someone drove over the claw. HELP!
