Surveyor in Portland OR

Hi All,

I am interested in feedback about a particular surveyor in Portland OR, named Dave O'Neil. Does anyone here have any experience with him or know of his reputation. My understanding is that he has been doing work in Portland for a long time.

Reason I ask is he surveyed a boat I am interested in, and I could save a considerable sum possibly by purchasing a copy of that survey from him as opposed to commissioning a new survey.

Any input would be appreciated
Thank you

Michael

doubleeboy...don't know anything about him but wanted to mention that any survey you buy should have been done as a BUYER's survey where the goal was to find stuff wrong with the boat rather than an insurance survey where the goal was to establish insurable value for the owner.

Thanks for the heads up Camaraderie. The survey had been commissioned by another prospective buyer who did not buy. After spending a couple hours crawling all over and in the boat yesterday, I will do the same. Nice Ericson 37, beautiful down below, but not the right boat for the admiral and I.

Regards
michael
