Nice film what ? That thing really does pick her skirts and fly. Nice thought dear Raindrop but just a tad more boat than this 'ere rodent aspires too. Rather that than the Maltese Falcon however and yes I would kill to do , say , a Pacific crossing on the thing. Would have to be blooming marvelous to sit up on deck, full moon, glass of the good stuff, Ms W by my side, we'd sing sing..whoops sorry....

Mind you I reckon I could find something to suit amongst this lot....

YouTube - Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta 2006

Anything with William Fife's name attached will do me.

(Caleb - the rumoured new Womboat was a case of never talk about a possible purchase before survey. My foot is still struggling to get free of my mouth. Coldplay are huuuuggge in Oz btw. Quite like them but not enough to go out and buy. There is a little Aussie boat called Berrimilla that has just sailed from Oz through the Bering Strait and across the top. Currently looking to cross the Atlantic to the UK I believe. Made me think about how cool , not to mention cold, it would be to do a North South circumnavigation or even a circumnavigation of America.)

Now, did I mention that Ted Brewer Puget Pilot in Seattle ?? Damn, that is a nice looking thing but the Ms W doesn't like the galley. Which is interesting given that I do more cooking than she does. Go figure.

Nonetheless it is a nice thought for this to be "Be Nice to Wombat Week".

(Longhorn -Coming from a Texan I really appreciate that after all the nasty things I have said about a certain resident of Washington DC, but as I have said before today, any place that has given the world Townes Van Zandt and Guy Clark cannot be all bad. )

I still reckon that if I had all the tea in China I'd think about one of these.
Dear old Alex reckoned it was as ugly as all get out but these things move me big time. Designed by the same fella who designed the Maltese Falcon btw.

Oh yes, and Sway, you can man the blender.

The top boat's sister ship is currently for sale EU875,000.

You wish that were your new boat... chances are more likely that this will be your next boat:

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Dog, Behave. Overt vulgarity is totally uncalled for.

Marty, That Oracle thing is totally totally....can't wait until we get to see the first video of it sailing.

Now this thing appeared on SA the other day. Not surprisingly it was met with almost universal derision but a certain rodent rode to it's defense. I think its an absolute honey. Zeydon 60. Designed by the same team that gave us the BMW 6 Series. No risk, love it or hate it.

Me I get off on cutting edge design. Quite happy with something much more prosaic for myself but if I had the moolah.....

Ye gods!
Blue Hull and deck, with (simulated?!) teak deck? Don't go out there barefooted or you'll have 3rd degree burns!

I think that the whole thing might be computer generated. I'm not sure they have actually built one yet. The deck though is supposed to be real teak. I love that whacky blue colour but for sure not practical.

TDW-

Whoever did the paint job needs to have his eyes checked... it obviously doesn't match the sky like it is supposed to.

TD,

I knew there was something I liked about you. I will say blue and teak etc is interesting. Wacky enough that it looks nice! Not sure about that boat SD sails.....er......or is that motors, but, if it works for him, then whom am I to argue with?

The email I got with 5 pics of the tri, says there should be a U-tube vid in a few weeks...........those were taken just a few miles north of me where she is being built. would love to be up there/near it when it sails.
