Looking for a Surveyor in San Francisco

A friend has put an offer on a Cooper 41 in San Francisco and is going down to sail and survey in 2 weeks. Can anyone suggest a good surveyor in the Bay area? He is flying down with a shipwright from here (Vancouver) to get a good idea of costs for upgrades he is planning to make, but would like to use a local surveyor. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
