It's not ugly! IT'S NOT! :)

Come on! Look at her! I went on a picture scavenger hunt, I present to you the largest collection of Hunter 27x pictures in the universe! "Red Herring" is out of Erie, PA. Not far from me, and is actively raced. A Hunter....RACING! There is hope after all

If you have to say it's not ugly, it's not... who are you trying to convince??? Personally, I think this one is pretty damn ugly... Just remember beauty is skin deep...ugly goes all the way to the bone...

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Not me, I like itor I wouldn't be planning on buying one, but the feedback here has been pretty negative, so I'm trying to convince....YOU.

Maybe I have to order one with a navy blue hull. Hunter does not do custom boats, but you can pick the color, keel, and wait....Isn't that a custom boat?

Heh, easy now, I think your boat is cool even if I don't like the way it looks (yours or any multi except those giant racers). I even considered it for a moment as it's not priced much different than the H27.

I was gonna say "Good examples, now show us the one you're talking about that's not ugly" but that's just not fair.

That has nice . . . The color isn't . . . The hull is . . .

That's just an example of why naval architects shouldn't have parents who were related BEFORE marriage.

Beauty is often in the eye of the beer holder. I find something appealing about the "Stanley Kubrick" white exterior of a Bill Shaw Pearson so I have no leg to stand on.

ANY boat with a bone in her teeth lashing upwind is beautiful. And if it gets you on the water and having fun that's a beautiful thing, too.

But I want the slip next to a Cheoy Lee Clipper or a Concordia 41 so I can sit and look at it while sipping my rum at sunset and be thankful I don't have the upkeep duties on her.

To travel hopefully is a better thing than to arrive - R.L. Stevenson

I suspect that, if you should go to the end of the world, you would find somebody there going farther . . . - H.D. Thoreau

It's easy to make a 42 foot boat beautiful, try that in a 27 footer with 6'2" of headroom I'm just going to have to start an ugly boat forum. For me, salingdog, and anyone with anything with a center cockpit, more than one hull, or pilot house on it. Pearson 27 is on my next boat list too, it's not ugly, just dull.
