I'm biting the bullet - making an offer today!

So today's the day--we're making an offer on one of the many, many boats we've looked at over the last several months. I have no feel for whether the offer will be accepted, rejected, or countered, but we're going to take a shot at it. If the offer is accepted, I'll post more information about the boat. At this point, I don't want to jinx it. I'm not superstitious, but I'm not going to push it either. OK, maybe I'm a little superstitious.

Thanks everyone! We probably won't know anything until at least tomorrow (Monday)--I don't think the listing broker is in the office today (not surprising). I'll definitely keep you up-to-date!

Best of luck, I know just how you feel having just gone through this in June.

If your offer is reasonable, I think they'd do well to take it. I feel its going to be a while before the market for recreational items gains any legs.

I've noticed lots of RV's, campers, boats, SUV's, motorcycles and such out in front of peoples houses with for sale signs so people are in a selling mood.
