They accepted our offer!!

On a 1988 Caliber 33 - A fresh water boat in great shape! Now to find a surveyor and a truck to get it to salt water. Who would have thought we would find the boat we wanted in Tennessee of all places?

Congrats!

Funny, but Tennessee is where we found our previous boat -- a PSC Dana 24. I was amazed how many "sea-going" boats were in the riverway marina where it was berthed. The marina operators told us that many boats transit north-south between the Gulf and Great Lakes -- something I hadn't previously realized.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

I believe so. The Tom/Ten or Ten/Tom waterway I think it was called.
