'74 Ericson 23-II fin keel, free to a good berth

We are getting a beautiful "new" '77 Ericson 39B and will be giving away our La Petite to a good berth. She is currently in Marina Del Rey, California.

Either PM or email me for the link to info, or go to ericsonyachts.org and look in the for sale forum.

You still have this? I figured it was gone after reading the thread on ericsonyachts.org. Someone should snag this thing, it looks great in pictures, link to thread, lots of pics and info...

Have you tried to donate it to a charity?

I have asked sailor acquaintances who would know of charities that would appreciate her as not just another discard but have come up with none. I really don't want her to end up derelict somewhere.

Sven-

I posted a link to your post here on two other forums, one specializes in small boat sailors...hopefully that will help you get a response.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Thank you

Many thanks.

I'm getting enough inquiries to think that this beautiful lady will soon be appreciated in a new berth.

Appreciate the help !

I'm sure a sailing club in your area would just LOVE to have her, with a guaranteed upkeep too.

Just another idea, and a chance to "pay it forward" to the sailing community (i.e. get more people involved in this great lifestyle).
