If anyone is interested in a Pearson Triton as a project boat, saw this on Craigslist...

Not my boat, don't know nuthin about it... just thought I'd mention it in case anyone in the New England area was interested.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

There is also an unclaimed Sabre 28 for the same price on Long Island advertised in Yachtworld...very tempting.

The Sabre 28 for that price is probably pretty well trashed.

If a dirty bottom slows you down what do you think it does to your boat

Its hard to judge from those pictures but apart from being dirty and I cant imagine the smell down below, It seems it descent shape.

A few thousands for new rigs, sails, paint and engine repair and it might be fine or...I am probably just fooling myself.
