who''''s got a boat for sale?

drove 900 miles to look at a 1982 completely equipped boat, only to be beat by some other offer. Who has a 40-45 sailboat with up to date equipment, for long distance cruising, and would like money for it? No, I do not have 275,000.00 I have much less. My offer was on a 1982 Beneteau First 42'' with a ton of equipment, all rigging etc. replaced the last few years, maxed out boat.
Boils down to a bad brokerage experience, still looking.

I don''t know where you are looking but my father has a 42 foot Brewer 12.8 Cutter. These are really neat boats. You can find the listing on Sailnet Boat Search under the boat name ''White Cap'' or with the following URL

who''''s got a boat for sale?

There is a Beneteau next to me in Perdido Key, Florida which is a "FSBO". No broker. I believe it''s a 1984 and 42''. It''s a beautiful vessel, well equiped and cared for. The ASKING price is $110,000 by I know he will negotiate. If you are interested e-mail me direct and I''ll drum up more info and or the owner''s number.
Good Luck
T.

who''''s got a boat for sale?

We have just decided to sell our 1986 Wauquiez Hood 38 MKII after cruising the Caribbean for 7 years and move ashore for awhile. She is a great cruising boat and fully equipped for offshore cruising (eg, onboard email, wind, solar, etc). Check her out at:

Thanks,
