Considering a Hylas 44

Anyone currently own a Hylas 44? We have narrowed down our search for a cruising boat to a few and this one tops the list. We''d love to talk to current or past owners about this boat. A broker told us they used to have problems with the stainless, both tanks and rigging, because they were built in Taiwan. Replacement could be a huge cost. I am hoping this problem was solved in the 1990''s.

I am buying a Hylas 44

I have been searching out the perfect cruising boat for our family of 4 that would be sea kindly as well as fast. The Hylas 44 is definately the best boat for us. There is a great artical written by John Kretschmer for sailing magazine, this community page will not allow me to post links. He is a well know delivery captain and author, he delivered these boats new and used.
