I am looling for a used 8' sailing dinghy, preferably in florida or close to.

Try craigslist for your local area. I'm pretty sure it'll have at least one or two listed there.

You might also try a search under popular names like Dyer Dhow. i don't know what your budget is they tend to be more expensive, but last several generations. Another great Phil Rhodes design!
