Any recommended surveyors in this area? I am slowly wading into the realm of long-distance boat buying and have basically come to the conclusion that a trustworthy and recommended surveyor is the only way to avoid potential disaster. I have a list of surveyors from the broker, but from what I''ve seen on these boards so far an independently recommended person (or at least confirmation of someone on the list) would be a preferable way to go.
