Roy, there is another choice you might consider: Pearson''s 36'' cutter. This has the same appearance as the 365, which was drawn as a ketch and one of a family of designs (323, 365, 424, 530), but they modified the 36 to be a much better sailing boat. Deeper & heavier keel, taller mast and with more sail area, but with the same functional layout belowdecks, including a stand-up separate shower stall. Properly upgraded, this would be a fine cruising boat and it will sell $20-30K cheaper than the 385, I''m guessing.
