Insurance for my boat

Hello everybody!!

I need your help.
I bought a vesell in florida and I am planing to sail down to central america.

I am looking for an insurance for my boat.
Could you recomend me any company?

By the way, I am not american. It makes any difference?

The vesell has gibraltar's flag

Thanks

Are you single handing the boat down to central america? If so, then Lloyd's is probably the only company that will insure you. If not, try IMIS, as they sell a policy that will insure a couple going bluewater.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
